全国各地でサイクルツーリズム事業を展開する一般社団法人ルーツ・スポーツ・ジャパンが、サイクリングアプリを使って日本各地の1周コースを走る期間分散型サイクリングイベント「サイクルボール SeasonIV-グランボール制覇の旅-」のプレシーズンを2023年4月29日(土)から開始することを発表しました。
「サイクルボール」は、従来型の1DAYイベントとは異なり、一度に大勢の人数が集まることがなく、また挑戦者の都合に合わせていつでも参加が可能な「期間分散型サイクリングイベント」。今年で4回目の開催となり、プレシーズンでは、「佐渡島1周」「筑波山1周」「霞ヶ浦1周」「狩野川1周」「伊豆半島1周」「富士山1周」「駿河湾1周」「伊豆大島1周」の計8ステージから開始します。

Starting 29 April 2023, Cycleball Season IV (Grand Ball Conquering Journey) returns, a cycling event that uses an app to take several 'laps' to discover the beauty of Japan.
Unlike traditional one-day events, Cycleball is a free-participation cycling event that does not require a large number of participants at any one time. Cycl eBall allows participants to participate at any time as they wish.
This year will be the fourth edition of the event. The pre-season will start with a total of eight stages: 'Tour of Sado Island', 'Tour of Mount Tsukuba', 'Tour of Kasumigaura', 'Tour of the Kano River', 'Tour of the Izu Peninsula', 'Tour of Mount Fuji', 'Tour of Suruga Bay' and 'Tour of Izu Oshima'.
